Our Take on This Opportunity
This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.
You may be a strong fit if…
- Strong fit for communication and media professionals in Cambodia with at least 5 years of local experience seeking high-impact public health work.
- Ideal for candidates skilled in digital storytelling, multimedia content creation, and website management.
- Well-suited for professionals eager to collaborate with UN agencies, government ministries, and international development partners.
What should you think carefully about?
- This is a 6-month temporary consultancy contract rather than a permanent staff position.
- Applicants must already possess eligibility and the required 5 years of communications experience specific to Cambodia.
- Consultants are responsible for their own tax withholdings and social security arrangements.
How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This 6-month consultancy offers a valuable opportunity to build specialized expertise in public health advocacy, international development communication, and UN-level stakeholder engagement within Cambodia.
Our take
Communications and media specialists with extensive experience in Cambodia who are available for a 6-month engagement should seriously consider applying. Those seeking permanent staff contracts or lacking local media experience may find this role less suitable.
