- Professionals with a background in geomatics or land administration who have direct experience working with rural Georgian communities.
- Candidates who possess strong negotiation and consensus-building skills, as the role requires managing local stakeholder relations.
- Individuals looking to apply their technical expertise to large-scale agricultural development and land reform projects.
What should you think carefully about?
- The role is initially short-term (up to 2 months), so applicants should consider the temporary nature of the assignment despite the possibility of extension.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This role is an excellent fit for a land management professional seeking to make a tangible impact on agricultural development and land rights in Georgia. It offers a unique opportunity to participate in a pilot project that informs national policy, providing the incumbent with high-level experience in international development and project management within the UN system.
Our take
This is a strong opportunity for Georgian nationals with specialized land administration experience who are comfortable working in rural settings and managing complex stakeholder dynamics. It is less suitable for those seeking long-term, permanent employment or those without the required 5 years of relevant professional experience.
