  • Candidates possessing practical experience with cell culture techniques, PCR, bacteriology, and ELISA.
  • Professionals who value a collaborative on-site work environment at DTU Lyngby Campus with a standard 37-hour work week.

What should you think carefully about?

  • Daily communication requires proficiency in both English and Danish, which may limit applicants who do not speak Danish.
  • Relocation to Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark, is required to fulfill the on-site responsibilities of the role.
  • Applicants should carefully verify how their specific exam certificates and lab credentials align with Danish accreditation and ISO quality assurance standards.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

This role offers laboratory technicians an opportunity to advance their technical careers within an internationally recognized aquatic disease reference laboratory. It allows staff to engage in diagnostic methods development and quality assurance work supporting aquaculture health and welfare.

Our take

Bilingual laboratory technicians with strong PCR and cell culture backgrounds who want stable employment in an academic research setting should strongly consider applying. Those lacking proficiency in Danish or the ability to work on-site in Denmark are not a match.
