Our Take on This Opportunity

This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.

You may be a strong fit if…

  • Candidates with a background in pedagogy, teaching, or communications who have hands-on experience managing Moodle or similar LMS platforms.
  • Professionals comfortable with data-driven decision-making, specifically those who can translate learning analytics into actionable reports for stakeholders.
  • Individuals currently based in Santiago, Chile, who are looking for a short-term, high-impact role within a UN-led national project.

What should you think carefully about?

  • The role is strictly on-site in Santiago, requiring daily physical presence at the MINVU offices.
  • The contract is short-term (3 months), which may not suit those seeking long-term stability without the possibility of extension.
  • Applicants must already hold the legal right to work in Chile; the UNDP does not provide visa sponsorship for this national position.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

This role is an excellent fit for professionals looking to bridge the gap between education and digital administration. It offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in the UN system while contributing to national urban development initiatives. It is ideal for someone seeking to build their portfolio in learning management systems (LMS) and educational project coordination.

Our take

This position is highly recommended for experienced e-learning coordinators or educators currently in Chile who want to apply their skills to public policy and urban development. It is less suitable for those who require remote work flexibility or who do not have the necessary work authorization for Chile.
