You may be a strong fit if…
- Candidates with prior experience in high-volume bar management or lead roles within the hospitality industry
- Individuals already residing in the Spangdahlem commuting area who meet the specific U.S. citizenship or NATO-spouse eligibility criteria
- Applicants comfortable with a flexible, non-standard schedule including nights and weekends
What should you think carefully about?
- Strict eligibility requirements regarding U.S. citizenship or specific NATO-spouse status must be met and documented
- The position is flexible (0-40 hours), meaning income may fluctuate based on operational needs
- No relocation assistance or housing allowances are provided, making this suitable primarily for those already based in the region
How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This role is ideal for individuals seeking to maintain professional experience within the U.S. military community while living in Germany. It offers a structured environment for those with hospitality leadership skills to contribute to MWR services, providing a stable, albeit flexible, employment opportunity for qualified residents.
Our take
This position is a strong match for U.S. citizens or eligible NATO-spouse residents currently living near Spangdahlem who have proven experience in bar management and staff supervision. It is less suitable for those requiring guaranteed full-time hours or those who do not meet the specific residency and citizenship criteria.
