Our Take on This Opportunity

This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.

You may be a strong fit if…

  • You enjoy a hybrid role that balances desk-based administrative coordination with hands-on service and facility tasks.
  • You thrive in an academic administrative environment that requires strong organizational skills and daily cross-departmental collaboration.
  • You are seeking a stable, part-time professional position (30-32 hours/week) within an established European technical university.

What should you think carefully about?

  • The position requires high physical presence at the Kgs. Lyngby campus in Denmark, so relocation or daily commuting is necessary.
  • The work schedule is set at 30 to 32 hours per week rather than full-time, which may impact salary and compensation packages.
  • Applicants must be comfortable balancing routine practical upkeep duties alongside complex administrative scheduling and correspondence.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

This role is well-suited for professionals looking to build a stable administrative career within higher education or reinforce their expertise in institutional coordination and secretariat support. It provides steady employment, university-level institutional exposure, and a collaborative work culture without requiring an advanced academic degree.

Our take

Candidates with a strong administrative background who enjoy variety and practical problem-solving in an academic setting should seriously consider applying before the November 2026 deadline. Those seeking remote-only work or purely academic research roles will find this position less suitable.
