Our Take on This Opportunity

This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.

You may be a strong fit if…

  • Professionals with a background in journalism, marketing, public relations, or communications who have strong project or event management experience
  • Candidates possessing specific expertise in translating complex technical or cybersecurity concepts into clear public awareness narratives
  • Qualified internal UNDP/UNCDF/UNV personnel meeting the Tier 1 or Tier 2 eligibility criteria seeking remote assignment opportunities

What should you think carefully about?

  • The contract is limited to a 6-month duration, which requires quick onboarding and delivery
  • The role is restricted to candidates meeting the Tier 1 and Tier 2 internal eligibility criteria rather than open to all external applicants
  • Candidates must ensure they have adequate home office infrastructure and equipment to support remote work effectively

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

This 6-month home-based assignment offers qualified communication professionals a strong opportunity to build high-profile portfolio experience within the United Nations system, specifically supporting digital security culture and institutional transparency in Brazil's judiciary sector.

Our take

Eligible internal candidates with strong communication, campaign management, and digital security awareness experience should apply before the October 6, 2026 deadline. External applicants not meeting Tier 1 or Tier 2 criteria should note the restriction.
