About the opportunity
The MENAAP Digital Unit (DMAPD) is responsible for digital and AI activities, including lending, supervision, and analytical work in the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. The Senior Digital Specialist will lead the design and supervision of World Bank-financed digital and AI investment programs, with a focus on digital connectivity infrastructure, regulatory reforms, digital government services, and AI ecosystem development. The role involves providing high-level technical advice to client governments, leading policy dialogue with senior officials, and collaborating across sectors to leverage digital technologies for development. The specialist will also oversee economic and financial analysis for project designs and represent the Bank in digital forums.
