Our Take on This Opportunity
This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.
You may be a strong fit if…
- Public health professionals, health economists, and monitoring experts with substantial experience in national action planning or infectious disease strategies
- Consultants who have previously supported low- and middle-income country governments or international development agencies
- Specialists who possess strong technical writing skills and a record of producing policy briefs, strategic plans, or evaluation reports
What should you think carefully about?
- Being accepted onto the roster does not guarantee immediate contract placement or steady employment duration

How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This roster position offers public health and health systems specialists an opportunity to contribute directly to high-level global health policy and regional health security within the WHO South-East Asia Region. It suits professionals looking to leverage their technical expertise across multiple short- or medium-term assignments supporting government ministries and international stakeholders.
Our take
Experienced public health consultants and health economists specializing in antimicrobial resistance or health systems strengthening should seriously consider applying to join this WHO roster. Those without the required years of progressive experience or advanced qualifications in relevant health disciplines will find themselves less suitable.
