Our Take on This Opportunity
This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.
You may be a strong fit if…
- Expertise in climate change, energy transition, or renewable energy systems
- Demonstrated success in technical grant writing and donor pitch development
What should you think carefully about?
- This is a remote, intermittent retainer contract rather than a full-time staff role
- The work requires translating complex energy data into competitive proposals for specific regional initiatives
How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This role is perfect for a technical writer or energy policy expert looking to contribute to regional clean energy initiatives in Southeast Asia. It offers the flexibility of remote work while allowing the incumbent to influence funding outcomes for critical sustainability projects.
Our take
Experienced proposal writers with a technical background in energy or environmental policy should apply. Those looking for steady, full-time employment may find the intermittent nature of this retainer contract less ideal.
