- Extensive professional background in social sector project management, particularly with 8+ years of experience in children's rights or social inclusion in Brazil.
- Strong proficiency in both English and Portuguese, enabling effective communication with international stakeholders and local partners.
- Familiarity with UN systems, international organizations, or governmental cooperation networks.
What should you think carefully about?
- The role is offered under a 12-month Service Contract (SC9) framework rather than a permanent staff appointment.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This position offers a strong platform for experienced development professionals looking to drive high-impact social inclusion and youth initiatives within a major international organization. It is well-suited for candidates aiming to deepen their expertise in multilateral technical cooperation and programme management in Brazil.
Our take
Experienced social scientists and project managers with a strong background in UN or NGO programme implementation in Brazil should consider applying before the October 5, 2026 deadline. Those lacking the required 8 years of project management experience or proficiency in Portuguese and English will find this role less suitable.
