About the opportunity
The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking two Programme Assistants for its Complaint Feedback Mechanism (CFM), based in Goma and Bunia within the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Eastern DRC, notably North Kivu and Ituri, faces complex humanitarian challenges driven by armed group activity, displacement, and livelihood loss. WFP provides unconditional food assistance, cash transfers, nutrition support, and school feeding to around 500,000 displaced and returned individuals in these areas. The CFM serves as a vital accountability tool enabling beneficiaries and affected communities to submit feedback, suggestions, and complaints regarding WFP interventions. The successful candidates will manage daily CFM operations, handle and refer feedback cases, track key performance indicators, and support community engagement activities under the supervision of the RAM Officer.
