Our Take on This Opportunity
This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.
You may be a strong fit if…
- PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science
- Proven expertise in ultrasound imaging, signal processing, or machine learning
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++ for high-performance computing
What should you think carefully about?
- Requires full-time on-site work in Eindhoven
- Fixed two-year contract duration
- Must be comfortable with both independent research and coaching junior team members
How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This role offers a high-impact opportunity to act as a technological integrator in a major VICI-funded program. It is perfect for a postdoc aiming to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial implementation, specifically through collaboration with partners like Philips Healthcare.
Our take
Experienced researchers with a solid track record in medical imaging and a collaborative spirit will find this a strong career step. Those preferring to work in isolation rather than leading and mentoring others may find the role less suitable.
