About the opportunity
The Postdoctoral Researcher will join a cross-disciplinary, international team at DTU Wind and Energy Systems, focusing on aerodynamic and aeroacoustic research. The work involves developing experimental and numerical methods for wind turbine aerodynamics, ranging from engineering models to scale-resolving simulations. The researcher will work on high and low-fidelity modeling of airfoil and rotor aeroacoustics, analyze acoustic measurements in anechoic wind tunnels, and contribute to multi-disciplinary rotor design. Most work is conducted within nationally and internationally funded research projects in collaboration with leading wind turbine manufacturers. The position is based at the DTU Risø Campus, utilizing facilities such as the Poul la Cour Wind Tunnel and the Rotating Test Rig.
