About the opportunity
A 3-year fully funded PhD position is available in the Disease Systems Immunology Group at DTU Bioengineering, Technical University of Denmark. The project focuses on the development and application of molecular and immunological approaches to improve the understanding and diagnosis of respiratory tract infections and vaccine-induced immune responses. The research bridges respiratory infection biology, molecular diagnostics, microbiome science, bioinformatics, vaccine immunology, and antibody glycobiology. The successful candidate will establish pathogen detection pipelines, analyze microbiome composition, characterize antibody glycosylation and functionality, and collaborate with multidisciplinary international research partners.
