About the opportunity

This 3-year PhD position is part of the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Network ‘MicroMan4Health’. Anchored at the Section of Manufacturing Engineering within DTU’s Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, the project aims to develop a fully digitalized, data-driven micromanufacturing process chain for fabricating thermoplastic microfluidic diagnostic systems. The role combines micro 3D printing (µ3DP) with micro injection molding (µIM) into a unified digital manufacturing cell, incorporating simulation, optical quality control, and in-situ process monitoring. Candidates will work in an international, multidisciplinary environment collaborating with industry leaders and academic experts across Europe.
