Our Take on This Opportunity

This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.

You may be a strong fit if…

  • You are a Kuwaiti professional with a background in research and a talent for translating data into strategic insights.
  • You have experience managing stakeholders across the corporate and government sectors in Kuwait.
  • You are looking for a role that combines project management with high-level diplomatic engagement.

What should you think carefully about?

  • This position is strictly reserved for Kuwaiti citizens; applicants of other nationalities will not be considered.
  • The selection process is rigorous, involving multiple stages of assessment and background checks.
  • You must be able to commute to the Kuwait City office daily, as no relocation funding is provided.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

This role is an excellent opportunity for a mid-career professional to transition into the UN system and gain experience in international development. It allows for the development of specialized skills in resource mobilization and IFI relations while contributing to the global Zero Hunger mandate.

Our take

Kuwaiti nationals with a year of experience in partnership management and a strong command of English and Arabic should seriously consider this role. It is less suitable for those seeking remote work or those without the specific research and stakeholder engagement background required.
