  • You possess strong skills in both strategic partnership development and hands-on humanitarian communications and reporting.
  • You are comfortable working in a high-performing, multicultural environment and are committed to WFP's core values of integrity and humanity.

What should you think carefully about?

  • The position requires being 'Fully Present' in Colombo, so you should be prepared for full-time on-site work in Sri Lanka.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

This opportunity is an excellent fit for professionals aiming to deepen their expertise in humanitarian partnerships and communications within a major UN agency. It provides high-level exposure to strategic engagement with global financial institutions and the chance to shape the visibility of WFP's operations in Sri Lanka. Whether you are looking to transition into a senior partnership role or gain specialized experience in a Nobel Peace Prize-winning organization, this 11-month assignment offers significant professional growth and international exposure.

Our take

This role is ideal for international mid-career professionals with a background in partnerships and communications who are ready to relocate to Colombo for a high-impact assignment. It is less suitable for those seeking remote work or permanent employment.
