You may be a strong fit if…

  • Legal or public health professionals with extensive regulatory drafting experience in Ukraine's healthcare sector.
  • Experts familiar with emergency medical care, disaster medicine, and patient pathway planning in crisis settings.
  • Bilingual candidates with expert fluency in both Ukrainian and English who can manage multi-stakeholder consultations.

What should you think carefully about?

  • The role is a fixed 6-month consultancy rather than a permanent staff position, with independent tax obligations.
  • Although primarily home-based, the position requires physical field monitoring visits within Ukraine alongside the Ministry of Health.
  • The application window is relatively short, closing on November 1, 2026.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

This consultancy provides a high-impact platform for public health and legal experts to influence national health policy and emergency service delivery during a critical period in Ukraine. It is well-suited for professionals looking to apply their legislative and analytical skills directly to humanitarian and health system resilience.

Our take

Experienced legal and health policy professionals with deep knowledge of Ukraine's regulatory framework and emergency medical systems should seriously consider applying. It is less suitable for candidates without prior legislative drafting experience or fluency in Ukrainian legal terminology.
