Our Take on This Opportunity
This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.
You may be a strong fit if…
- You have extensive experience in knowledge valorization and academic-industry collaboration.
- You possess a strong background in holding company governance and generating societal impact.
- You have a deep understanding of the academic environment and the ability to balance diverse institutional interests.
What should you think carefully about?
- This is a part-time supervisory role, so you must ensure it fits alongside your primary professional commitments.
- The compensation is a fixed annual fee, which may not align with expectations for high-level executive consulting roles.
- You should verify if your current professional affiliations create any conflicts of interest with TU/e's specific participations.
How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This position is ideal for an experienced professional looking to contribute to the strategic direction of university-led innovation and spin-offs. It offers a unique opportunity to influence the valorization pillar of a major technical university while leveraging your expertise in a governance capacity.
Our take
This role is best suited for senior leaders with a strong connection to the Brainport region and a proven track record in academic valorization; those seeking full-time operational management will find this less suitable.
