Our Take on This Opportunity
This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.
You may be a strong fit if…
- You have experience assisting corporate or transactional lawyers with debt, equity, or commercial finance documentation.
- You are adept at legal operations, including tracking conditions to disbursement, managing signatures, and coordinating with external counsel.
- You are based in or willing to relocate to Jakarta or New Delhi to work within an international development finance environment.
What should you think carefully about?
- Duty station assignment between Jakarta and New Delhi is decided by organizational and business needs rather than personal preference.
- This is a legal analyst and documentation support role supporting in-house counsel rather than an independent legal counsel appointment.
How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This position offers a strong platform for legal analysts and corporate paralegals looking to build specialized experience in international development finance. Working with IFC's legal counsel provides direct insight into complex structured finance, equity investments, and cross-border emerging market transactions across Asia.
Our take
Apply if you are a skilled legal analyst seeking institutional experience with the World Bank Group in Asia. It is less suitable for candidates seeking lead advisory counsel roles or remote work flexibility outside the designated duty stations.
