You may be a strong fit if…

  • Bangladeshi nationals with a Bachelor's degree in a field like Agriculture or Development Studies.
  • Individuals with at least 7 years of experience in community-based development or emergency response.
  • Candidates willing to be based in specific Upazilas to lead field-level implementation.

What should you think carefully about?

  • This is a 6-month temporary assignment, so it is best viewed as a short-term project role.
  • The role requires significant field presence and coordination with local stakeholders.
  • Applicants must verify their eligibility regarding the specific Upazila locations listed.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

This position is well-suited for someone looking to apply their field experience directly to emergency agriculture and livestock response. It offers a chance to engage in hands-on project delivery and monitoring, which is valuable for those building a career in grassroots humanitarian work.

Our take

This is a practical, field-oriented role for experienced development professionals in Bangladesh. It is less suitable for those seeking long-term contracts or office-based positions.
