  • PhD holders with specialized expertise in thermo-mechanical modelling of infrastructure.
  • Researchers with a strong publication record and experience in securing external funding.
  • Academics looking for a structured tenure-track path at a leading technical university.

What should you think carefully about?

  • The position is on-site at Lyngby, with potential travel to other locations like Greenland.
  • Candidates must be prepared to teach and co-supervise students in addition to research duties.
  • The role involves critical technology research, which may trigger background checks.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

This tenure-track position is ideal for an ambitious researcher aiming to lead climate adaptation studies in civil engineering. It provides the resources and career development framework to build a long-term academic research program.

Our take

This is a high-level opportunity for researchers in geotechnics and climate modeling. It is less suitable for those who prefer a purely industry-focused role or who are not prepared for the rigors of a tenure-track academic career.
