About the opportunity
Under the general supervision of the Chief Information Security Officer and supervision of the Head of Cybersecurity Advisory Services, the incumbent will conduct consulting activities to the business, including Authorization to Operate and cybersecurity compliance, application security, network security, secure-by-design principles across the technology lifecycle, securing critical applications, supporting secure adoption of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, and identity and access management. The role is offered as an 11-month CST Level II consultancy contract with remote work arrangements.

Who can apply?
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM disciplines, or equivalent working experience
- At least 6 years of relevant work experience
- Solid IT security skills with both academic background and professional experience
- Solid IT SDLC expertise and strong understanding of AI security concepts, threats, and risk management practices
- Ability to define and implement secure-by-design principles, security requirements, and architectural controls
- Experience conducting security reviews of AI-enabled solutions, including data protection, model security, third-party AI services, and integration security
- Fluency in oral and written English; intermediate knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) or Portuguese is desirable
