- Individuals with prior experience in the ZARC methodology or similar agricultural climate risk tools.
- Candidates who are already based in or have strong familiarity with the eastern Dry Corridor of Guatemala.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This role is an excellent opportunity for an agricultural professional to gain hands-on experience in climate-resilient farming practices and international project management. It is particularly well-suited for someone looking to make a tangible impact on food security in vulnerable regions while building a professional network within the UN system.
Our take
This position is highly recommended for qualified agronomists or environmental specialists currently based in Guatemala who are passionate about climate adaptation. It is less suitable for those seeking office-based roles or those without the required field experience in crop management.
