You may be a strong fit if…
- Professionals with at least three years of experience in humanitarian, development, or policy sectors.
- Individuals possessing a deep, established understanding of UK parliamentary and governmental structures.
- Candidates with an existing professional network within the UK parliament or NGO sector.
What should you think carefully about?
- This is a contract-based role, which may lack the long-term stability of permanent staff positions.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This role is ideal for a policy professional looking to pivot into or deepen their influence within the international humanitarian space. By positioning the WFP as a key partner for UK stakeholders, you will gain high-level experience in advocacy and strategic relationship management, which is highly transferable for future leadership roles in global development or government relations.
Our take
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced policy advocates with strong UK political connections. It is less suitable for those seeking remote work or individuals without prior experience in the UK parliamentary environment.
