Our Take on This Opportunity
This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.
You may be a strong fit if…
- Experienced HR professionals with a background in federal staffing and recruitment
- Candidates with specific expertise in executive resources (SES, SL/ST, SBRBPAS)
- Individuals comfortable with high-level advisory roles and complex HR policy interpretation
What should you think carefully about?
- The application is limited to the first 150 applicants, so early submission is critical
- The resume must be strictly limited to two pages and contain all specified details to avoid disqualification
- This is a Title 21 appointment, which operates differently from standard competitive federal hiring processes
How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This role is ideal for an experienced HR specialist looking to transition into or advance within the federal executive resources space. It offers a high-level, specialized environment at the FDA, providing exposure to complex recruitment strategies and senior-level advisory work that can significantly bolster a career in federal human capital management.
Our take
Experienced HR specialists with a focus on executive recruitment should apply immediately given the 150-applicant cap. It is less suitable for those without significant experience in federal staffing or those who cannot adhere to the strict two-page resume requirement.
