About the opportunity
The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Representation in Comoros is seeking a Project Formulation Support Specialist under a Personnel Service Agreement (PSA) to support the country office in designing and finalizing the Comoros Country Programming Framework (CPF) for the 2027-2030 period. The incumbent will work under the general supervision of the ad interim FAO Representative and direct supervision of the Head of the FAO Office in Comoros and the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit Manager in FAO Madagascar. The specialist will facilitate multi-stakeholder national workshops, conduct bilateral consultations, collect and analyze national and sectoral strategic documents, and contribute to strengthening national resilience and food security.

Who can apply?
- Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in social sciences, economics, planning, project management, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of proven experience in developing strategic frameworks or designing large-scale national programs.
- Working knowledge of French.
- Comorian nationality or residency in the country with a valid work permit.
- Familiarity with national priorities, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the socioeconomic context of Comoros.
