- You possess a deep understanding of national and regional climate policies and their intersection with agriculture, water, energy, and food security.

- Your academic degrees must be from institutions accredited in the World Higher Education Database (WHED) to be considered.
How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This role is an excellent fit for mid-to-senior level environmental and climate specialists in Libya looking to gain high-level experience with a UN agency. It allows you to directly influence national climate policy and governance frameworks through the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Readiness project, enhancing your profile in international development and climate-smart agriculture.
Our take
Libyan climate and environmental experts with over seven years of experience should seriously consider applying to contribute to this critical national framework. It is less suitable for those seeking long-term, stable staff employment or those without the required master's degree and bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic.
