Our Take on This Opportunity
This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.
You may be a strong fit if…
- Top-tier international academic performers who rank in the absolute top 5-10% of their university graduation class.
- Non-EU/EER students admitted to a broad variety of English-taught Master's programs at the University of Twente.
- Applicants seeking partial financial compensation to offset living expenses and study-related costs for a recognized European graduate degree.
What should you think carefully about?
- This is a partial scholarship, meaning applicants must independently secure funding for any remaining living costs and tuition shortfalls.
- Strict academic progression rules apply during the first year to secure funding renewal for the second year of a two-year degree.
- Citizens of EU/EEA countries, current UT students, and applicants to ITC programs are strictly ineligible.
How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This scholarship fits individuals aiming to pursue an advanced technical or social sciences master's degree in the Netherlands while managing significant personal living expenses through partial financial assistance.
Our take
Highly qualified non-EU/EER master's applicants who meet the top-tier academic criteria and have sufficient supplementary funds should apply, whereas students seeking fully funded coverage for all expenses may find this option less suitable.
