About the opportunity
The MOVE Fund is a five-year pooled funding initiative designed to champion equal access to sports and play for all youth across the U.S. It supports regional and local efforts to advance collective action and systems change, addressing a fragmented and inequitable youth sports ecosystem where 70% of kids drop out by age 13. The fund invests in coalitions and collectives that advocate for public and private investment in sport and play, build the capacity of sport-based youth development organizations, and create equitable, positive, and inclusive local sports systems. Grants range between $40,000 and $150,000 and span two years in length, empowering communities, schools, recreation departments, and local leaders.
