Our Take on This Opportunity
This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.
You may be a strong fit if…
- Enrolled students in engineering or related technical disciplines with foundational knowledge of electric machines and motor control
- Candidates looking for structured, part-time academic work closely aligned with cutting-edge industrial electronics and power conversion research
- Students proficient in simulation and modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink
What should you think carefully about?
- The position is strictly part-time at 14 hours per week for a fixed duration running from December 2026 through June 2027
- Applicants must be physically located to work in Sønderborg, Denmark, or be prepared to commute
- Active enrollment in a recognized higher education institution is a strict mandatory prerequisite
How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This opportunity fits students seeking to gain practical, hands-on research and development experience in industrial electronics alongside their ongoing studies. It offers valuable exposure to hardware-software co-design, motor control, and power converter technologies within an established university research center.
Our take
Enrolled engineering students with a background in electric drives and availability for a part-time schedule in Sønderborg should strongly consider applying before the November 2026 deadline. Those not currently enrolled in higher education or unable to commit to the fixed contract dates will find it less suitable.
