About the opportunity
In order to support the development of degree-seeking international students at Qingdao University, the university launches the “Qingdao University Presidential Scholarship” program to provide sponsorship to international students and scholars pursuing Master’s and Doctor’s degrees. The scholarship provides full coverage of tuition fees, on-campus accommodation fees, a monthly living allowance, and comprehensive medical insurance. There are 5 quotas available specifically for Ph.D.-seeking applicants for the 2026 intake. Scholarship recipients are also required to provide no less than 120 hours of volunteer work related to international student admission and management at the school.

Who can apply?

- Applicants for master's degrees must be aged under 35; applicants for doctor's degrees must be aged under 40
- Each recipient can be granted no more than one scholarship; scholarship qualification will be cancelled if the recipient enjoys more than one scholarship
