About the opportunity
The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) is seeking postdoctoral researchers to join the SDU Robotics unit for the CAPeX project, a 13-year initiative focused on accelerating P2X materials discovery. The successful candidate will develop robotic solutions for laboratory automation, specifically for the manipulation of tubes, fragile glass vials, and liquids. The role involves creating flexible systems capable of conducting experiments with minimal intervention, operating alongside humans, and utilizing visual feedback for dynamic environments. The postdoc will contribute to deployments at SDU and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), conduct independent research, publish findings, and support the team in securing external funding. The position is primarily onsite at the Odense campus.
