About the opportunity
The World Health Organization (WHO) is recruiting a National Consultant to support WHO Myanmar in conducting a comprehensive review of existing policies and regulations related to dietary risk factors, including salt, sugar, trans-fat, food labelling, sugar-sweetened beverage taxation, and the marketing and promotion of unhealthy foods. The initiative aims to support policy and regulatory gap analyses, develop tailored advocacy materials, facilitate multisectoral stakeholder consultations and workshops, and assist in creating a roadmap or action plan for policy reform to foster a more supportive food environment and reduce the burden of NCDs.
