Our Take on This Opportunity

This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.

You may be a strong fit if…

  • High-performing international students with a First Class honours degree
  • Applicants with a strong academic record and a GPA of 80% or higher
  • Prospective students from developing countries or outside the EU/EFTA

What should you think carefully about?

  • Scholarships are awarded by invitation only, not direct application
  • Strict deadlines for English language tests and diploma uploads
  • Limited to MSc programs starting in September

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

These scholarships are designed for high-achieving scholars who require full financial support to pursue advanced research or professional training in the Netherlands. Securing this funding allows you to focus entirely on your academic excellence and research contributions without the burden of tuition or living costs.

Our take

Top-tier academic candidates who meet the rigorous GPA and admission requirements should apply to the MSc program early; those who do not hold a First Class honours degree or equivalent may find these specific scholarship pathways less accessible.
