About the opportunity
The Lund University Global Scholarship programme is a selective, merit-based initiative designed to recognise top academic students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland who are applying for degree programmes at Lund University. Each year, the university awards approximately SEK 26 million (€2.4 million / $2.4 million) in scholarship grants. The scholarships cover part or all of the tuition fees, depending on the programme and faculty budget, but do not cover living costs. Recipients must have selected a Lund University programme as their first choice at universityadmissions.se.
Funding and benefits

Who can apply?
- Must be a citizen of a country from outside the EU/EEA (and Switzerland)
- Must be required to pay tuition fees
- Must be applying in a regular application round to Master's level studies leading to a degree at Lund University, or exceptionally for specific Bachelor's programmes (Development Studies, Mathematics, Physics, and Physical Geography)
- Must have selected the Lund University programme as the first choice in the application at universityadmissions.se
- Must meet the admission requirements to Lund University and be able to secure funding for living costs as required by the Swedish Migration Agency
