Our Take on This Opportunity

This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.

You may be a strong fit if…

  • Female students pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at TU Wien.
  • Students with a strong academic record (grade average of 1.5 or better).
  • Individuals with a deep interest in logic, formal methods, AI, or computer security.
  • Candidates who are able to reside in Austria during the term.

What should you think carefully about?

  • This is a partially funded stipend, not a full scholarship; you will need to cover living expenses beyond the EUR 7,000 annual grant.
  • You must maintain a high grade average to keep the stipend, which adds a layer of academic pressure.
  • The stipend is only for those enrolled in English-taught Master's programs at TU Wien.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

This stipend is a fantastic way to offset tuition costs and gain recognition for academic excellence in a competitive field. It is designed to support high-achieving female students, allowing them to focus more on their research and studies in logic and computer security, and potentially opening doors to further academic or research opportunities within the Vienna Center for Logic and Algorithms.

Our take

This is a highly recommended application for eligible female students at TU Wien who meet the academic criteria. It is less suitable for those who require full financial coverage for their cost of living in Vienna.
