  • Candidates experienced in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and translating business requirements into technical system specifications are well-aligned with the core responsibilities.
  • Individuals who thrive in collaborative, cross-functional environments and have experience working with Treasury or risk management teams will be strong candidates.

What should you think carefully about?

  • This is a technical, high-responsibility role focused on fiduciary control; candidates should be prepared for a rigorous environment with strict compliance and reporting standards.
  • The role requires significant coordination across different time zones and departments, which may involve non-standard working hours depending on global project needs.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

This position offers a significant opportunity for a finance professional to deepen their expertise in international financial reporting and institutional-scale financial instrument management. It is an ideal step for someone looking to transition into or advance within a major multilateral development institution, providing exposure to complex global financial operations and the chance to influence internal control frameworks.

Our take

This role is highly suitable for experienced financial officers or product controllers with a strong technical grasp of financial instruments. It is less suitable for those seeking generalist accounting roles or those without specific experience in valuation and system-based financial reporting.
