Our Take on This Opportunity

This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.

You may be a strong fit if…

  • Nationals of Sudan with the required citizenship.
  • Professionals with 4+ years of experience in agriculture, livestock, or humanitarian activities.
  • Those fluent in both English and Arabic.

What should you think carefully about?

  • The initial contract duration is very short (3 months), which may be a significant trade-off for some.
  • The role requires on-site work across various locations in Sudan, which involves significant field mobility.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

This is a great fit for someone seeking a short-term, high-impact emergency intervention role. It allows the applicant to strengthen their experience in humanitarian coordination and food security delivery at the field level.

Our take

Sudanese nationals with field-level project implementation experience in food security and livelihoods should apply. This is less suitable for those who cannot commit to on-site field work across different Sudanese states.
