You may be a strong fit if…

  • Emerging civic leaders in the early-to-mid stages of their careers.
  • Individuals with a demonstrated history of community or professional leadership.
  • Residents of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) who can commit to in-person programming.

What should you think carefully about?

  • The program requires a significant time commitment of over 100 hours, which may necessitate employer support.
  • Most sessions are held in person, so you must be based in the GTHA for the duration of the year.
  • You should verify if your current professional schedule allows for the monthly core sessions and workshops.

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

This fellowship is ideal for someone looking to transition into a more influential civic leadership role. It offers a structured environment to sharpen leadership skills, expand your professional network across sectors, and gain personalized coaching, making it a powerful stepping stone for those aiming to shape the future of the GTHA region.

Our take

This is a highly suitable program for civic-minded professionals in the GTHA who are ready to invest in their leadership development. It is less suitable for those unable to commit to regular, in-person attendance in Toronto.
