Our Take on This Opportunity
This section reflects Open Opportunities’ own analysis of the opportunity from an applicant’s perspective.
You may be a strong fit if…
- You hold an academic degree and possess solid experience in project coordination, process management, or administrative development within complex settings like higher education.
- You excel at balancing multiple parallel tasks, translating strategic decisions into concrete administrative actions, and managing stakeholder relations across organizational levels.
- You communicate effectively in both Danish and English and enjoy driving organizational setup and operational routines from the ground up.
What should you think carefully about?
- This is a 2-year fixed-term appointment rather than a permanent position, though initial responsibilities will evolve toward long-term departmental operations.
- The role requires physical presence at Campusvej in Odense M, Denmark, making relocation or a manageable daily commute necessary.
- You must be comfortable navigating shifting priorities and fast-paced project environments during the foundational phase of new academic programs.
How could this fit your current goals and plans?
This role is well-suited for professionals aiming to build robust administrative experience within the university sector, particularly those interested in educational program development, institutional governance, and cross-disciplinary project management. It provides a platform to contribute directly to the establishment of new academic curricula while expanding professional networks in health and education administration.
Our take
Candidates with a strong academic background and a talent for administrative coordination, structured planning, and stakeholder management in higher education should seriously consider applying. Those seeking permanent tenure immediately or unable to work on-site in Odense may find this 2-year fixed-term appointment less suitable.
