About the opportunity

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the Guatemalan Social Security Institute (IGSS) are implementing a technical cooperation agreement to support the Family and Community Health Strategy (ESFC-IGSS). This initiative focuses on institutional capacity building, interdisciplinary clinical training, and the development of technical and pedagogical tools aligned with Primary Health Care (PHC) and Integrated Health Service Delivery Networks (RISS). PAHO is establishing a roster of pre-evaluated professionals to be considered for specific consultancy assignments based on programmatic needs. Inclusion in the roster does not guarantee a contract, nor does it create an employer-employee relationship. Selected consultants will provide academic and methodological tutoring to residents and professionals, strengthening the integration of health specialties with family and community health perspectives.
