You may be a strong fit if…

  • Practicing science reporters, writers, and editors seeking global networking, collaborative cross-border reporting projects, and skills development
  • Communication officers and academic researchers aiming to connect directly with international science media leaders

What should you think carefully about?

  • In-person attendance requires self-funding of registration, UK travel, and London lodging unless awarded a competitive travel fellowship

  • Registration tiers vary substantially in cost between non-profit/member rates and commercial delegates

How could this fit your current goals and plans?

|WCSJ 2027 is ideally suited for professionals aiming to broaden their global reporting network, pitch scientific stories to international outlets, upgrade technical reporting and investigative skills, or engage in high-level debates on the impact of technology and misinformation in science media.

Our take

Journalists, media professionals, and science communicators interested in global collaboration should target early bird registration in July 2026 and prepare travel fellowship applications for Summer 2026.
